Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Competitaurus ("Service", "Platform", "we", "our"), a product of Quassum MB, registered in Lithuania, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Competitaurus is an automated SEO content service. For each website you connect, the Service:

  • researches your business, customers, competitors and search demand;
  • builds and maintains a rolling content calendar of search terms;
  • writes long-form articles with accompanying images and infographics;
  • publishes those articles to your content management system, RSS feed or a blog we host for you, on the schedule and in the review mode you choose;
  • places links to your website inside articles written for other participating customers, and links to their websites inside your articles, when you opt in to the backlink network;
  • reports performance using data you authorise us to read from Google Search Console.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use this Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, for all activities that occur under it, and for notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3.3 Website Ownership

You may only connect websites you own or are authorised to publish to. By connecting a website you confirm you have the right to publish content on it and to grant us the publishing access described in Section 7.

4. Subscription, Trial and Billing

4.1 Plans

The Service is offered as a Monthly subscription and an Annual subscription. Both are billed in advance through our payment provider, Polar. Pricing may be updated with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

4.2 Free Trial

New subscriptions start with a free trial of the length stated on the pricing page (currently 3 days). During the trial you have full access to the Service. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription and the first payment is taken automatically.

4.3 Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and no further payments are taken. Articles already scheduled will not be published after cancellation unless you publish them yourself.

4.4 Preview Content

Before subscribing you may receive a content plan and up to three preview articles for one website. Preview content is provided for evaluation only and may be published by you only while you hold an active subscription.

5. Refund Policy

  • Monthly plan: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your first paid charge and we will refund that charge in full.
  • Annual plan: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first paid charge and we will refund that charge in full.
  • Our promise: if we do not write at least 30 articles for your website in your first paid month, your next month is free.
  • Refunds are not available for renewal charges outside the windows above, or where the Service was used in breach of these Terms.
  • Refund requests are handled by email at [email protected] and are processed within 10 business days.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, hateful or harmful;
  • publish content promoting regulated goods or activities where doing so is prohibited in your jurisdiction;
  • provide false business information, or a website you are not entitled to publish to;
  • manipulate the backlink network, including by connecting websites created solely to receive links;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, resell or interfere with the Service.

We may refuse to write about topics, or to include a website in the backlink network, at our discretion, particularly for health, finance, legal and other sensitive subjects.

7. Integrations and Credentials

To publish to your website you may provide credentials for your content management system (for example a WordPress application password, Shopify access token, Webflow site token or similar). We store credentials encrypted, use them only to publish and verify content you have approved, and delete them when you disconnect the integration or close your account. You are responsible for granting the minimum access required and for revoking access on your platform if you stop using the Service.

8. Content Ownership and Licence

8.1 Your Content

You own the articles, images and infographics generated for your website once they are delivered to you. We claim no copyright over them, and you may edit, publish, republish or delete them freely.

8.2 Licence to Us

You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service, including to host it on the blog we provide when you use hosted publishing, and to display excerpts inside your dashboard.

8.3 Backlink Network

If you opt in to the backlink network, you agree that articles published on your website may include contextual links to other participating customers' websites, and that articles published on their websites may link to yours. Links are chosen for topical relevance and are monitored; you may opt out at any time, after which no new outbound links are placed. Links already published remain unless you remove them.

8.4 AI-Generated Content

Content is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and automated research. We review structure and sourcing automatically, but you are responsible for reviewing content before publication where accuracy matters for your business, and for compliance with laws that apply to your industry.

9. Google Search Console

If you connect Google Search Console we request read-only access to your search performance data. We use it only to inform keyword selection and to report results to you. You may revoke access at any time from your Google account or your settings.

10. Service Availability and Support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Article delivery depends on third-party services, including AI providers and your content management system; delays caused by those services do not constitute a breach of these Terms. Support is provided by email and typically answered within 24 hours on business days.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic level, number of customers or revenue outcome. Figures quoted on our website are targets or, where labelled, results measured for specific customers, and are not a promise of results for your website.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, from content you publish, or from your use of a website you were not authorised to connect.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination we delete your credentials and, after 30 days, your stored content, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
